Deadpool: The Most Popular Manga of 2021 Gets an English Release – CBR – Comic Book Resources

Viz Media announces when Deadpool: Samurai, the most popular manga of 2021, will release for English readers.
Fans waiting to get their hands on the English edition of the Deadpool: Samurai manga now have a release window to look forward to.
Viz Media announced Deadpool: Samurai, the most popular manga of 2021, will release in spring 2021. “Announcement: Deadpool moves to Tokyo and encounters just about every kind of shonen trope you can think of!” Viz Media’s tweet reads. “Chaos and humor collide in Deadpool: Samurai, out Spring 2022!”

The cover to Deadpool: Samurai features a zoom-in on the Merc With a Mouth‘s mask. However, if you look very closely, you can see hundreds of Deadpools in the mask’s background. In true Deadpool form, one of his eye slots is squinting at the reader. The story features Deadpool being transported to feudal Japan, and was soon upgraded from a one-shot to a full series
Announced in December 2020, Deadpool: Samurai became the most widely read Marvel comic of 2021. The manga by Shonen Jump+ comes from Sanshirou Kasama and Hikaru Uesugi, with its first two chapters eclipsing 1 million views each. However, with Shonen Jump+ being free to read, it has allowed more readers to sample Deadpool’s manga story than your typical Marvel comic.
The American release of Deadpool: Samurai goes on sale in spring 2022.
